Kate has featured in the Australian Photography magazine and offers workshops in Australia and Kenya working with conservation groups and specialises in wildlife portraits and conservation imagery. I admire her ability to capture intimate portraits of the animals and create art that showcases the natural world. One of the best contemporary Australian wildlife photographers around at the moment.
Konsta Punkka
Konsta is a Finnish wildlife photographer, his work specialises in capturing the emotions and expressions of his subjects. As a Nikon ambassador for Europe, he has featured in National Geographic among other media outlets. I was inspired by his ethical photographic approach towards capturing animals as well as the research he does to study their behaviours and ecosystems. Konsta is familiar with urban wildlife in his homeland, and it plays into his inspiration to show people the perspective of these animals.
Michele Bavassano
An Italian professional wildlife photographer, Michele’s work has featured on the Discovery channel and the BBC. He currently collaborates with Gitzo equipment and ENEL energy in highlighting eco-sustainability and runs Just Explorers with follow photographer Sharon Vanadia offering wildlife workshops in various countries in Africa and Europe. He is active in protecting and saving the environment donating his images in favour of helping endangered species and their habitats. I admire his dedication and patience in forging the right composition under the right light conditions, always in search of documenting the strong expressions in his subjects, which adds to his personal style. His approach is very ethical, and he always gives his subjects space which create the unforced moments he has adeptly captured.

A Toronto based photographer and journalist who is renowned for revealing the hidden secrets of urban wildlife that are often overlooked. I admire his patience and dedication into researching the behaviour of urban wildlife which forges his images, highlighting the durability and adaptability of his subjects and the threats and challenges they face. His published works have also been widely published and exhibited, gaining respect from both scientific and art communities.
Sam Hobson
A professional wildlife photographer From Bristol, UK, Sam has featured in numerous publications such as the Royal Photographic Society Journal, BBC, and National Geographic and won numerous awards including British Wildlife photographer of the year and wildlife photographer of the year amongst others. Sam also utilises remote cameras as a less invasive way of capturing the wildlife in their urban surroundings. The impressive image of the fox with Bristol bridge in the background was shot using this method. His tenacity to capture photojournalistic conservation stories and individual images that convey the subject and environment are what inspired me.
